The idea
The Church's 384 temples are usually a list — names, places and dates in a table. We wanted to turn that list into a place: a globe you could spin in your hand, where every temple is a point of light and you can see, at a glance, how they spread across the world and connect back to Salt Lake City.
What we built
A real-time globe rendered from scratch on an HTML canvas — no Three.js, no map library — with our own 3D projection and great-circle paths. Every temple carries its full record, the view filters by status, and the whole thing reads in English or European Portuguese.

The experience
What was a spreadsheet becomes something you explore. It loads fast, runs on a phone, and turns a global network of temples into a single, quiet object you can hold and turn — proof that serious data visualisation doesn't need a heavy stack.
