Book of Mormon Timeline
Twenty-six centuries of Book of Mormon history — from the Jaredites to the hill Cumorah — laid out as one horizontal scroll of 47 events you move through at your own pace.
- ~2,600years on one timeline
- 47events across 7 eras
- EN/PTfully bilingual
- 0frameworks — one single file

The idea
Scripture history is hard to hold in your head — thousands of years, several civilisations, rising and falling out of order. We wanted a way to feel the shape of it: one continuous line where you can watch an era begin, overlap the next, and end.
What we built
A horizontal timeline of 47 events, colour-coded by era, with a glowing centre at the visit of Christ. Each marker opens a card — date, title, summary and scripture reference — placed to stay on screen, and on a phone it slides up as a sheet. It's a single HTML file with no framework behind it.
- +47 events across seven eras, c. 2200 BC to AD 421
- +Era chips, arrow-key navigation and smart card placement
- +Mobile bottom-sheet with touch and swipe
- +Bilingual EN/PT, remembered between visits
The experience
Scripture stops being a wall of dates and becomes a journey you scroll. Each reference quietly points back to the text, so the timeline works as a study companion as much as a story — fast, reverent, and readable on any device.
